It is a 32-player, one point match, single elimination event, comprised of two sections. Each section winner will face off against each other in a best two-out-of-three match to determine the overall winner of the tournament. The two losers of their respective section finals will play one game for third place.

Check back here periodically, as more results will be posted as they come in, and the new pairings for each round will also be posted when they are ready to begin. The board numbers of these games will also be given in case anyone wishes to subscribe to them to follow their progress.

The players in each section were ranked 1 through 16, with

• established players ranked above provisionally rated players,
• provisionally rated players ranked above unrated players, and
• players within each group ranked by overall rating.

In the first round, the pairings are:

After the first round, the 8 winners are re-seeded 1 through 8. What this means, is, for instance, if the top 3 players all lose their first round games and the #4 ranked player is the highest ranked player to win his/her first round game, he/she becomes the new #1 ranked player in the second round. The second highest ranked player to win his/her first round game becomes the new #2 ranked player in the second round, and so forth.

In the second round, the pairings are: 

1 vs. 8 
2 vs. 7 
3 vs. 6 
4 vs. 5

After the second round we again re-seed the four players who advance, and the third round pairings are: 

1 vs. 4 
2 vs. 3

Then finally the two third round winners play each other for their section title and the right to advance to the finals, where they will play the other section winner in a best two-out-of-three games match (ie. no crawford) for the championship of the tournament.
The two fourth round losers play one game for third place of the tournament.
